WHAT IS PGH FIELD HOCKEY?

Ali founded PGH Field Hockey in 2023 to help grow the game of field hockey in Western Pennsylvania. With a focus at the youth level, her intent is to help rising players learn the game and build a solid foundation. Whether you are brand new to the game or a returning player looking for more opportunities to play, PGH Field Hockey would love to have you join us!
CLINICS & CAMPS
March Play Days

​​Returning players from all communities are welcome to join us for 2 play day sessions in March. Players will be assigned a team and coach for each session. Instruction will be provided during game play. Goalkeepers are encouraged to attend!

ABOUT ALI
Player, Teacher, Coach
Ali grew up in Lancaster County and began playing field hockey in 3rd grade. She continued her field hockey career at the University of Michigan, where she was a Team Captain and NCAA National Champion her senior year. Before starting a family, Ali was an elementary teacher and varsity field hockey head coach who guided her players to a WPIAL Championship. She uses her own personal experiences and knowledge of the game to plan fun, engaging instruction at each training session.
